- Who is eligible to enroll?
- People living in the United States who have been diagnosed with ovarian and/or uterine cancer and are 18 years of age or older (Nebraska residents must be 19 or older).
- Can I join if I'm in remission or finished with treatment?
- Yes. The Living Lab is open to people at different points in their experience with ovarian and/or uterine cancer, including those in remission or who have completed treatment.
- How long does it take to enroll?
- Most people complete the enrollment process in about ten minutes. The initial set of surveys usually takes less than an hour to complete.
- What am I expected to do as a Living Lab participant?
- To get started, you will review and sign a consent form and complete an initial series of surveys about your health and cancer experience. You will also decide whether to allow access to your electronic health records (EHR) to contribute clinical data alongside your survey responses.
After enrolling, you will be invited to provide periodic updates about your health over time. You can also choose to link health app data (such as Fitbit) in the Living Lab platform at any time; this is optional but can enrich the information you contribute.
- Do I need to provide blood or other samples?
- No samples are requested from Living Lab participants. If future studies invite sample donation, you'll be contacted separately and can choose whether you wish to take part.
