Who can access Discovery Lab data?

Discovery Lab data is available to approved research partners. Access requires a research proposal and IRB documentation, reviewed by the OCRA Governance Committee before credentials are issued.

What data is available in Discovery Lab?

Discovery Lab provides de-identified clinical data, patient-reported outcomes from the Living Lab registry, treatment patterns, and linked research datasets contributed by approved institutions.

Is there a cost to access Discovery Lab?

There is no fee for approved academic or nonprofit researchers. Commercial use requires separate licensing. All approved users agree to research-use-only terms before receiving credentials.

How long does the approval process take?

Governance review typically takes 4–6 weeks from complete submission, depending on proposal complexity and IRB status. Status updates are sent by email throughout the review cycle.

Contribute data to the OCRA Discovery Lab through one of two pathways: data integration support for sharing existing gynecologic cancer datasets under MOU or DUA controls, or a Trusted Research Environment project space for new collaborative research.

Option 1: Data Integration Support

Reach out to our team and let us know about research datasets you have that you’d like to integrate into the Discovery Lab. We’ll provide technical support for data migration and formatting to ensure seamless integration with our platform. Our governance framework allows you to include additional gatekeeping controls such as MOU or DUAs that are required before the community members access your data.

Option 2: Request a Research Project

Request your own project space within the Discovery Lab data commons to conduct research while enabling data sharing and collaboration across the community. This option provides you with computational resources while contributing to the collective knowledge base. You choose whether to share all the data within your project, or just a subset.
