Overview
The National Gynae-Oncology Registry (NGOR) is Australia’s first clinical quality registry for gynecologic cancers, run by Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
What it does
NGOR collects diagnosis, treatment, and outcome data for women with gynecological cancers to measure patterns of care and identify variation from evidence-based practice. It then reports benchmarked quality indicators back to clinicians and hospitals to help improve care and outcomes.
Cancers covered
The registry is modular and currently includes ovarian, tubal, and peritoneal cancer, with additional modules for endometrial, cervical, vulvar, and rare ovarian tumors in development or expansion. The main active module is the ovarian/tubal/peritoneal one, with participation across multiple Australian states.
