Shedding light on photo-redox catalysis of a NIR iridium( iii ) complex for high photocytotoxicity against cisplatin resistant ovarian cancer in 3D tumor spheroids
Here, RM2, through the synergy of a long-lived triplet state and favorable redox potentials, offers NADH oxidation and Type-I/II ROS generation resulting in IC 50 = 60 nM against the cisplatin-resistant ID8 cell line through photo redox catalysis.
