Niraparib Maintenance Treatment in Patients With Newly Diagnosed Advanced Platinum- Sensitive, OC. The First Poland RWE Study.

The study is observational, not interventional. The study will include patients with advanced ovarian cancer who have been treated in Poland based on a previous early access program, and who are currently being treated under the B.50 drug program, funded by the National Health Fund. Only patients currently being treated in the B.50 program at 10 selected centers listed on this site may be included in the study. Of course, any patient in Poland eligible for maintenance treatment with niraparib can receive the drug, regardless of participation in this RWE study.The treatment involves administering niraparib as maintenance therapy for 3 years after the completion of chemotherapy, provided that the patient has responded to systemic treatment (NED, CR, PR).

Genetic Risk: Whether, When, and How to Tell Adolescents

Semi-structured interviews lasting up to one hour will be conducted with three populations: parent/child pairs at risk for Huntington's Disease, parent/child pairs at risk for hereditary cancer, and genetic counselors.

Early Detection of Ovarian Cancer Using Plasma Cell-free DNA Fragmentomics (Retrospective Study)

The purpose of this study is to enable non-invasive early detection of ovarian cancer in high-risk populations through the establishment of a multimodal machine learning model using plasma cell-free DNA fragmentomics. Plasma cell-free DNA from early stage ovarian cancer patients and healthy individuals will be subjected to whole-genome sequencing. Five diferent feature types, including Fragment Size Coverage (FSC), Fragment Size Distribution (FSD), EnD Motif (EDM), BreakPoint Motif (BPM), and Copy Number Variation (CNV) will be assessed to generate this model.

A Mind-body Intervention to Improve Body and/or Self Image

Trial of THEO-260 (Administered Via Intraperitoneal Route) in Ovarian Cancer Patients

The goal of this clinical trial is to establish if THEO-260 is safe to administer to adult females with ovarian cancer. It will also aim to establish if THEO-260 is able to treat ovarian cancer. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What medical problems do participants have when taking THEO-260? * At what dose is THEO-260 both safe but also shows signs of being able to treat ovarian cancer? The clinical trial follows a dose escalation/ finding design where we will aim to establish a Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D). Participants will: * Be administered 6 doses of THEO-260 via an intraperitoneal (IP) route of administration over the course of 2 weeks. * They will then visit the clinic at regular intervals for check-ups and tests to monitor safety and THEO-260 ability to treat ovarian cancer.

Decitabine, Vaccine Therapy, and Pegylated Liposomal Doxorubicin Hydrochloride in Treating Patients With Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer, Fallopian Tube Cancer, or Peritoneal Cancer

This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of decitabine when given together with pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride and vaccine therapy in treating patients with recurrent ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or peritoneal cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as decitabine and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Vaccines made from a peptide or antigen may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Giving combination chemotherapy together with vaccine therapy may kill more tumor cells

UNTOLD Ovarian Cancer Unmet Needs Survey

The goal of this study is to comprehensively measure ongoing concerns and unmet needs of individuals living with ovarian cancer. To accomplish this, the UNderstanding The experience of Ovarian cancer - Life after Diagnosis (UNTOLD) study will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach. Ovarian cancer survivors will be enrolled to participate in UNTOLD to complete a one-time survey regarding their experiences. Up to 40 survivors will be subsequently identified to complete a follow-up interview. To ensure these sample sizes, along with a representative sample, a combined recruitment strategy will be employed using the California Cancer Registry (population-based) and recruitment through ovarian cancer advocacy groups.

Shorter Scalp Cooling Time in Paclitaxel

Chemotherapy-induced alopecia (CIA) is one of the most distressing side effects for patients. Scalp cooling can prevent or minimise CIA in approximately half of all patients, depending on many factors, e.g. type and dosage of chemotherapy. High rates of success are seen in patients treated with taxanes, up to 80-90%. Previous research has shown comparable results of scalp cooling in docetaxel-treated patients when shortening the post-infusion cooling time (PICT) from the initial standard of 90 minutes to 45- and 20 minutes. A shorter PICT is an advantage for both the patient, who can spend less time in the hospital, as well for the logistics at oncological departments. Paclitaxel and docetaxel are both classical taxanes, that share similar mechanisms of action and have comparable plasma terminal half-life times, therefore it seems plausible that the PICT can be shortened for paclitaxel-treated patients as well.

Dalpiciclib Combined With Letrozole in HR+/HER2 - Gynecologic Solid Tumors

This is a prospective, single-arm, single-center registry study to investigate 6-month progression-free survival with Dalpiciclib, a CDK4/6 kinase inhibitor, plus letrozole in patients with unresectable refractory or resistant recurrent HR-positive, HER2-negative gynecologic solid tumors." Dalpiciclib is a CDK4/6 kinase inhibitor that selectively inhibits the activity of CDK4/6 kinase, so that the complex with Cyclin D cannot phosphorylate the downstream Rb protein and prevent cells from entering the S phase from G1 phase, thereby inhibiting cell proliferation and anti-tumor effects.

Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) : Predictive Marker and Mechanism

Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) is the stage III of the FIGO ovarian cancer staging. It corresponds to an advanced stage with a relative 5 year survival rate of 52%. The multimodal treatment approach combines neoadjuvant chemotherapy, cytoreductive surgery of macroscopic lesions, and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). It has significantly improved survival rate in patients with ovarian PC and decreased recurrence and mortality rate by 21%. The efficacy of HIPEC is based on chemotherapy potentiated by the hyperthermia (43°). However, the cellular mechanisms involved are not fully understood, but they include cell death pathways and heat shock proteins (Hsp70 and Hsp90). RICCI et al. showed, based on pre-clinical models, that the efficacy of HIPEC was partly due to the overexpression and exposure of HSP90 on the cell surface leaded to an anti-cancer immune response. The aims of this study are to validate these findings in tissue samples of patients with ovarian PC. We will constitute a bank of isolated tumor samples before and after HIPEC and measure postoperative HSP90 serum levels in order to establish if they are predictive of a response. HSPs expression on the cancer cell surface will be determined by flow cytometry. Forty-four patients will be included. Elucidating the underlying mechanisms of HIPEC will broaden therapeutic possibilities including the use of new immunotherapy. The multimodal approach could improve the efficacy of HIPEC with a minimal systemic toxicity.

A Study of PF-07820435 as a Single Agent and in Combination in Participants With Advanced Solid Tumors

This study aims to evaluate the safety, and early signals of anti-tumor activity of PF-07820435 when administered alone (Part 1A) or in combination with sasanlimab (Part 1B; Part 2) in patients with selected advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Part 1 will be dose-finding and Part 2 of the study will further evaluate PF-07820435 at the recommended dose for combination expansion in patients with selected advanced solid tumors.

Matched Paired Pharmacodynamics and Feasibility Study of Durvalumab in Combination With Chemotherapy in Frontline Ovarian Cancer (N-Dur)

This phase I/II trial studies how well durvalumab works when given in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel in treating patients with stage III-IV ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving durvalumab in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel may be a better treatment for ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

The objective of the study is to create a test that will discriminate between malignant and benign ovarian mass that was diagnosed by ultrasound. The investigators will examine about 800 women and at the end of the study the investigators will combine data from the woman's history, the sonographic characters of the mass and serum biological markers along with the woman's outcome (which means - whether the mass was malignant, benign, or disappeared or remained constant with no intervention).
